Our Story

Olivia and Johnathan first met in August 2017 during Fundamentals Week for the St. Francis de Sales Marching Band. Over the next two years, the two became very good friends, bonding over their shared love of music and staying up way too late. John and Olivia would talk every day and eventually fell in love. At Camp Nuhop on August 8th, 2019, the two began dating, which surprised no one. The two only dated for a few months before starting a four-year, long-distance relationship. John had moved to Cincinnati to attend the University of Cincinnati, while Olivia had moved to East Lansing to attend Michigan State University. Their relationship then consisted of frequent Discord video calls, watching movies, playing video games, and several five-hour drives. Despite being so far away from each other, John's and Olivia's love continued to grow. Olivia introduced John to her favorite musicals, and John introduced Olivia to “Doctor Who.” They got engaged on July 1st, 2023, at Wildwood Metropark, the location of their first date back in 2019. After four years of long-distance, the two were reunited when Olivia moved to Cincinnati in 2024. The two now have three beautiful kittens: Ares, Persephone, and Hermes. They are so excited to celebrate their wedding with all of their family and friends!
